Abre is a senior research analyst. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Abre spent nearly four years as a credit research analyst in the Credit Investment Portfolio of Wells Fargo. At Wells Fargo, he was part of a team responsible for investing in a portfolio of investment-grade, high-yield bonds, and leveraged loans. Abre holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration-finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Alex Warren

Alex is vice president, client service manager for Aristotle Pacific Capital, where he is part of the business development and account management team. Previously, Alex was a product specialist with Aristotle Capital Management and worked in client service at Western Asset Management Company (WAMCO) supporting institutional insurance and corporate relationships. Alex has also held roles at Russell Investments and Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO). Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Chapman University and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

Andrew Ross

Andrew is a principal, managing director, portfolio manager, and head of CLO Structuring for Aristotle Pacific Capital. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific Capital in 2018, Andy spent seven years at PAAMCO, where he served as a portfolio manager on the firm’s hedge fund and fixed-income offerings, was a member of the firm’s Portfolio Construction Group, and covered investments in structured credit. Prior to this, he worked at IndyMac Bank, with responsibilities in credit risk, trading, and portfolio management. Andy has more than 18 years of investment and banking experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA with a concentration in analytic finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder and has also earned the FRM and CAIA designations.

Bob Boyd

Bob is a senior managing director and a portfolio manager for the Corporate (Bank) Loan, CLO, and CLO Opportunities strategies. In addition, Bob is also head of credit research and has credit research responsibilities across select sectors. He joined the firm in 2012. Previously, Bob was at PIMCO for 14 years, where he was a bank-loan portfolio manager and credit analyst. Bob has over 28 years of investment experience, focused on leveraged finance, credit analysis and structured products. He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Brian Baik

Brian is a senior associate, Client Service for Aristotle Pacific Capital, where he is part of the business development and account management team. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific, Brian was a marketing associate with Poplar Forest Capital supporting institutional client relationships. Brian has over eight years of investment experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana University Bloomington and is currently pursuing an MBA in finance at the Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate University.

Brian is a senior managing director and a portfolio manager for the Strategic Credit, High Yield, and Core Plus strategies. Prior to being a founding member of the firm in 2007, Brian was a member of Pacific Life’s securities division, overseeing investments in corporate bonds, high-yield, and bank-loan securities from 2003 to 2006. Brian has over 23 years of investment experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Brian is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Orange County.

Brandon Lee

Brandon is a senior credit research analyst and head of special situations. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Brandon was a managing director at Golden Tree Asset Management, focused on distressed/opportunistic investments. Prior to that, Brandon spent seven years as a financial restructuring advisor at Houlihan Lokey and five years in Citi’s Global Energy Group, specializing in oil-and-gas loan underwriting and syndication. Brandon earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.

Dan Martinez

Dan is senior director, head of investment risk. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Dan spent 11 years at Thornburg Investment Management, where he was a senior analyst in portfolio analytics and investment risk with responsibilities in building and implementing risk management across asset classes. Additionally, Dan has held senior roles across investment analytics, data operations, and business development. He earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.  Dan is a CFA charterholder.

David Weismiller

David is a senior managing director and the lead portfolio manager for the Short Duration, Core Plus, and Investment Grade strategies. Prior to being a founding member of the firm in 2007, David was senior member of Pacific Life’s credit research team, overseeing investments in corporate bonds, high-yield, and bank-loan securities from 2002 to 2006. Prior to joining Pacific Life, David was a commercial banking officer with Comerica responsible for investing in a portfolio of leveraged loans. He has over 29 years of investment and banking experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. David is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.

Dominic Nolan

Dominic is the CEO and a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he was a vice president at Lombardia Capital Partners and LM Capital Group, an institutional global fixed-income manager. Prior to LM Capital, Dominic worked at Fidelity Investments. He has over 27 years of industry and investment experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Society of Orange County, and serves on the Investment Committee of the CSU Fullerton Endowment.

Doug Lopez

Doug is a managing director and a portfolio manager for the BB/B High Yield and Short Duration High Yield strategies. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Doug was a senior partner and portfolio manager at Aristotle Credit Partners since 2014.  Before then, he was a member of the Investment Policy and Strategy Committee and Portfolio Management Team at Bradford & Marzec, LLC. Doug served as the lead Portfolio Manager for the firm’s high yield portfolios starting in 1995. He has also held positions with Barclays Global Investors (formerly Wells Fargo Investment Advisors), Western Asset Management Company (WAMCO), and IBM Corporation. Doug earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and his MBA in Finance from University of California, Berkeley. He is a CFA charterholder.

Dou-Yih Yang

Dou is assistant vice president, Client Service for Aristotle Pacific Capital and part of the business development and account management team. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific Capital, Dou partnered with institutional clients at Neuberger Berman and Advent Capital Management. Before this, she worked at GE as part of the corporate audit staff and within GE Capital’s financing businesses. Dou has over 14 years of investment experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Evan is a senior vice president of consultant relations for Aristotle Pacific Capital. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific Capital, Evan was an institutional fixed income product manager at Capital Group. Previously, Evan served as vice president, consultant relations at PIMCO and as an institutional consulting analyst at Wells Fargo Advisors Optimal Service Group. Evan has over 15 years of industry experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of William and Mary.

Jeff Klingelhofer

Jeff is a managing director and portfolio manager for the Core Plus and Core Bond strategies. In addition, Jeff has credit research responsibilities across select sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Jeff was co-head of investments at Thornburg Investment Management and a portfolio manager on all fixed-income strategies. Additionally, he was responsible for driving firm-wide investment processes, leading securitized investment efforts and representing the investment team across external business channels. Prior to Thornburg, Jeff was with PIMCO at its Newport Beach, Tokyo, and London offices. Jeff has over 22 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Irvine and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder.

John Brueggemann

John is a portfolio manager for the High Yield Strategy and senior research analyst. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, John spent two years as a junior investment analyst in the Alternative Investment Management Group, a division of Principal Investments within Wells Fargo Securities, where he helped invest in a portfolio of leveraged loans and high-yield bonds. John holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Arizona.

Prior to being a founding member of the firm in 2007, JP was a senior member of Pacific Life’s credit research team, overseeing investments in corporate bonds, high-yield, and bank-loan securities from 1997 to 2006. Prior to joining Pacific Life, JP was a member of Credit Lyonnais’ Leveraged Finance Group. JP has over 30 years of investment and banking experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and an MBA from Columbia University.

Matthew Cecil

Matt is a managing director and client portfolio manager for Aristotle Pacific Capital, responsible for institutional business development, product, and account management. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific Capital in 2015, Matt spent several years at PIMCO, where he serviced institutional clients and was a member of compliance teams overseeing the firm’s 40-Act and ETF accounts. Prior to PIMCO, Matt’s experience included financial advisory with Wells Fargo Advisors and American Express. Matt has over 19 years of industry experience. He earned a bachelor's degree from Biola University and an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.

Megan is assistant vice president, Client Service for Aristotle Pacific Capital, where she is part of the business development and account management team. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific Capital, Megan was with State Street in Boston as a mutual fund compliance administrator, where she monitored and reviewed all SEC, CFTC, IRS, Prospectus, and SAI compliance. Megan has over nine years of investment experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from San Diego State University.

Michael is a senior research analyst. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Michael was a portfolio manager and credit analyst for Pacific Life’s portfolio of corporate bonds, high-yield, and bank-loan securities from 1994 to 2007. Michael has over 42 years of experience in the financial and securities industry, including past investment analyst positions at Franklin Resources, Bradford and Marzec, and Great Northern Annuity. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Michael is a managing director and head of trading, overseeing all of the firm’s trading initiatives. Prior to being a founding member of the firm in 2007, Michael was a member of Pacific Life’s operations team, where he was responsible for trade reconciliation, processing various derivative products, and corporate actions. He has over 23 years of investment and trading experience. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in both finance and operations management from the University of Delaware and an MBA at the University of California, Irvine.

Prior joining the firm in 2023, Partha spent seven years at Aristotle Credit Partners as a senior credit analyst and five years at BNP Paribas, India as a VP, credit analyst. His experience has focused on investing in high yield and investment grade bonds and leveraged loans across multiple sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Jadavpur University, India, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Scott is a senior vice president of Institutional Services for Aristotle Pacific Capital, responsible for institutional business development, in addition to product and account management. Prior to joining Aristotle Pacific Capital in 2017, Scott was responsible for institutional intermediary and strategic account relationships at RidgeWorth Investments. Prior to RidgeWorth, he held senior business development positions at Hartford Funds and Old Mutual Asset Management. He began his investment career with Trusco Capital Management, a firm whose assets reached $70 billion and was the predecessor entity to RidgeWorth Investments. He has over 21 years of industry experience. Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory University, an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Georgia State University and has earned both the Certified Investment Management Analyst certification and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Tommy spent two years at Goldman Sachs, where he worked as an associate in the Debt Underwriting Group. At Goldman, he was involved in the underwriting and origination of loans for the consumer retail and healthcare sectors. Prior to that, he was an associate in KPMG’s Advisory practice. At Wells Fargo, he was part of a team responsible for investing in a portfolio of investment-grade bonds, high-yield bonds, and leveraged loans. Sector coverage included autos, energy, and general transportation/ industrials, among others. Before that, he worked for Fidelity Investments as a credit research associate covering energy. Vincent holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in economics from Northeastern University. Vincent is a CFA charterholder.

In addition, Ying has credit research responsibilities focusing on asset-backed securities (ABS). Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Ying was with PIMCO for eight years, where she was a senior vice president, portfolio manager, and trader for both investment-grade corporate and ABS. Prior to that, she worked at ING Investment Management for nine years and was an ABS portfolio manager and trader. Ying has 27 years fixed-income investment experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Renmin University of China and an MBA in finance from Emory University. She is a CFA charterholder.
